The 4th Edition of Rockomania Rising East ready to enthrall Guwahati Live Performance by Indus Creed on the Grand Finale

Rockomania Rising East, David Koch of Rockarolla Events and Artist Management and Swaty Sharma of Holycow Entertainment during the press conference 4Guwahati, November 25th, 2014:?Rockomania Rising East, the hunt for the biggest rock band of eastern India is all set for the final phase of its auditions in Guwahati followed by the finale of the fourth edition scheduled to happen in Guwahati on 29th November, Saturday at Shilpagram from 4 pm onwards. Conducted for the very first time in northeast India, Rockomania Rising East has conducted auditions for this edition in 7 regions of West Bengal, Odisha, Tripura, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Silchar and Meghalaya so far. The final phase of the auditions will happen in Guwahati tomorrow, the 26th of November 2014, at Shilpagram from 12 pm onwards. The grand finale of this competition will enthrall the audience with live performance by the very celebrated Indus Creed?and the winning bands of this band hunt, setting the?Shilpagram?stage on fire.?The event, organized by Taurian Production and Holycow Entertainment is sponsored by Pond?s Men, Hero Motocorp, Maruti Suzuki Alto K 10, Denver Deo and powered by Parle Namkeen. The champion band of the rock band hunt will win prize money of Rs. 75,000, along with post production of their next album. They will also receive gift vouchers from Ponds Men and Parle Namkeen. The first and second runner-ups will win prize money of Rs. 35,000 and Rs. 25,000 respectively. The participating bands will also have to create a jingle for Parle Namkeen and the band with the best jingle will win prize money of Rs. 10,000, and their jingle will be played on the radio with the mention of the band. The final round will be judged by David Koch, a popular music promoter and founder of Rockarolla Events, Amitabh Baruah from Lucid Recess and Hriday Goswamy from Spreading Roots. Swaty Sharma of Holycow Entertainment, who was also present at the press meet said, ?We are very happy to bring the biggest band hunt of Eastern India to the North Eastern region. The reason why we chose to expand our horizons towards the northeastern region was that this region is that though there are amazing musicians here, the region is mostly excluded when it comes to conducting big shows and concerts. Through this concert, we want to bridge the gap between the ?mainland India? and the northeastern region.?
